Woohoo! The last month has been a BUSY one! I finally got some time to put together this month's podcast over the weekend so, I just barely made my deadline.
This month's downtempo podcast features NU Funk music from a variety of artists from around the world. While I was researching this month's selections, I was surprised to find out that Australia has a flourishing funk scene and artists that are regularly releasing awesome tunes. Check out some of the links in the tracklist for more info.
Get ready to get funky, this set has some serious character, is super uplifting, and tons of fun. Enjoy!

Podcast Summary
Join me on a journey in to the chilled out worlds of Lounge, NuJazz, Downtempo, Chillout, House, and Latin Rhythm music.
This Podcast is intended to be a monthly show in which I will explore all things jazzy, funky, and chilled out!
SO WHY LISTEN? I love Electronica. I seek out House, Progressive, and Breaks BUT, sometimes your ears have just had enough!
Sometimes you need something a little less synthetic. Sometimes you need to just throw something on that is positive and relaxing, something to create a vibe, no, A MOOD.
My sets are a good choice when you need to create a colorful backround for great conversation with friends during cocktails or dinner. They are also great to throw on when you just need to chill, catch up on some reading, or have a nice nap.
This is not Ambient, you need ryhthm, but not in your face. Its jazzy, its smooth, heck, it can even be progressive. But, I will never take you too deep and I will never create anything but POSITIVE VIBES.
I have been an off and on musician for years and I have recently started Digital DJ'ing.
Once upon a time I had dreams of being a profesional Electronic musician but, with time and age, that faded. I have moved away from the music business and am very happy with my career in Information Technology. I have recently started producing music and mixing again, but this time around, I am doing it for enjoyment, not profit.
